In February 2010 my wife and I purchased a Smartt solar power System. It was a 1.1 kw system. It has performed above expectations and has reduced our power bill in June- August 2011 quarter by $111.50.

We feel it is time to upgrade and install a bigger system to future proof ourselves and to cut our power bills out completely.

We are very happy with the service and also with your sales people, which is why we are buying another system from you.

A Big Thanks

 

Recently the Smartt Group installed solar panels at my home in Virginia, Queensland. It is a very long time since I have been so satisfied with an undertaking and I feel obliged to write to you to express my appreciation to you and your staff.

 

When first I thought of the possible benefit of solar panels I made the decision to find out all I could about them and the installers thereof. It all seemed very vague. Then I chanced to be handed a Smartt Group card and I arranged to receive a quotation. I was quite impressed by the representative who attended my home. There was no vagueness about him; he was informative, specific and clear. He gained my confidence.

 

I now knew exactly what I desired and where, and you personally interceded to enable my specific requirements to be met. This I did appreciate. I was concerned that the appearance of my home might be spoilt, but everything has been so neatly effected. Those anxieties are no longer.

The Smartt group is justifiably proud of the fact that, at the annual renewable energy conference in Canberra, the group was awarded the Platinum Award for the most solar panels installed in Australia during 2008/2009.

 

Smartt Solar Systems use Solar panels in their solar energiser kits, supplying a 25 year power outlet warranty. I am glad I chose the Smartt group. Everything is working as it should and I, unlike so many who chose other companies, can now sleep at night without anxiety.

Our special thanks to Andrew Wilson for his detailed explanation, covering all aspects of buying solar panels! He spent a great deal of time with us, and put in the hard work, which we respect and appreciate very much!

We also wish to thank Scott Owens and John, who worked fast and hard, fitting the Solar Panel System to our home! Also a big “Thank You” to Carmen and Linda for being so nice and helpful when we telephoned.

People are always ready to complain but not so good at letting you know when they are satisfied.

Just received a full 3 months electricity account and instead of paying approx $350 only have to pay $23, even though there was quite a few rainy and dull days.

Our house was installed with a 3.0 Kilowatt system recently. I would like to comment that at all times through the research, purchase and installation of our system, my wife and myself found Smartt staff to be knowledgeable about their product technology and the current industry. They were very understanding of the need to be supportive of the customers concerns with such as large outlay of our hard won finance and also very easy to deal with.

During the actual installation, their technical staff ensured that their appointments were kept and on time and were very professional when working around our house. Our installation is an internal installation of the inverter, and all our concerns in regards to the positioning of the system were accommodated, making it less intrusive in our living areas as possible.
I would say that Smartt Solar showed themselves to be an excellent company to do business with and we would recommend them at any time.

It’s now 12 months since we signed a contract with the Smartt Group for the Smartt Solar Energizer PV System. After this, everything proceeded very smoothly. Everyone involved in the installation arrived as they had arranged and within 3 months the whole system was up and running.

Our choice of Smartt Solar came after exploring various systems in relation to both the environment and economy, and the final decision was made after visiting various displays at the 09 Home Show at the RNA showgrounds. The Smartt Solar System was by no means the cheapest, but we felt that it offered quality materials, durability and long term warranties with an established company.

Drawing on an eight panel system, the inverter can produce up to 6kw/day and this is already producing a substantial credit on our power bill and therefore a strong buffer as power charges rise.

Thank you for a great product and one we would certainly recommend.

We’re so happy we got the 2KW system because of all the electricity price rises, and we’re going to retire soon. We had 8 other companies out here before we decided to go with you, and I think you were the most expensive. Like you said, you get what you pay for.

We switched the pool pump over and did all the things you said and it has made such a difference. I got 18KW the other day, much more than you told me. We’ve got some friends in Toowoomba that would like to see you.

I like showing off to my mates that I’ve got solar and am going to save heaps of money. We will keep the sign out for you. Thanks for the fuel card as well, and we’ve recommended you to all of our friends so I’m sure you’ll be busy.

This Week, Energex amended our home power metre and so finalised our home’s conversion to the finely performing PV power system you installed for us on June 3.

May I therefore here express deep final appreciation, not only of your fine product, but also your firm’s constant, punctual, clearly explained service at all stages of our PV system selection and installation.

Your measurement and installation were constantly exemplary in their helpfulness and clarity, while the service and help provided by Chris James will always be recalled with deep appreciation.

In a way then, I feel it a pity to be ending regular contact with your fine staff- but it is also extremely assuring to know the fine standard of service that we could look forward to in the future, should we ever need again to investigate the ever-growing solar product range.

I would like to submit a personal testament and thank you to Dean Clappis and the other staff we have dealt with since the beginning of our solar journey.

 

We had researched solar power a little before we met Dean, and he was able to further clarify our knowledge about solar power, panels and inverters. Dean is a professional sales man and an asset to your organisation. He presents well, knows his product and is articulate. He is well prepared and organised.

 

Dean presented information in a user- friendly way, and was able to ascertain our needs and concerns about solar and really describe the benefits and positives. We are actually looking forward to receiving our first solar friendly bill. Once this comes through, and we can see the benefits in black and white, I will happily follow up this email with a secondary note attesting to the accuracy of Dean’s claims.

 

Dean and the other staff we have dealt with on the phone, when asking follow up questions, changing our minds or simply booking appointments, have all been very professional and accommodating. The service technicians who installed the system were also well presented, prompt and efficient and friendly, and very professional.

 

All in all, our experience with Smartt Solar has been very pleasant and (hopefully) rewarding. We will happily recommend your company to any who seek to have solar power installed.
